SERVICE SCOPE — WRITTEN AGREEMENT CONTROLS
Service Limitations
Clear limits are part of reliable support. Everharbour's service scope is planned companionship, appropriate routine assistance, RN-led navigation and defined household coordination. The scope for each household must be agreed in writing and may change if the person's needs change.
Nature of Service
Scheduled companionship, approved ordinary personal support under plan, care navigation and defined household activities.
No continuous nursing, guaranteed health outcomes or 24-hour supervision.
Clinical Boundaries
- Companions do not administer medication, perform injections, wound or catheter procedures, diagnose, treat or perform other excluded clinical tasks.
- The presence of RN founders does not itself transform a non-clinical retainer into a nursing procedure service.
- RN navigation is limited by applicable professional requirements, the agreed role, coverage and professional judgment.
Emergency Situations
Call 911 for immediate danger or medical emergencies.
Routine calls, written updates or agreed contact hours do not constitute emergency dispatch or active 24-hour monitoring.
Visit Lengths and Availability
- Tier 1/2 three-hour minimum; Estate four-hour minimum; regular recurring visits subject to capacity, scheduled hours and documented substitution.
- No overnight or live-in service at launch.
- Short-notice help may be unavailable.
Safety and Suitability
No unsafe lifting, mechanical lifts or restraints within this service.
Significant mobility changes, escalating personal care or acute clinical needs may require a different service or referral.
Independent Contractors and Trades
- Trades are independent and contract directly with and are paid by the client or their authorized representative.
- Everharbour may coordinate access, attendance and reporting within scope; it is not a prime contractor, trade supervisor, project manager or guarantor of workmanship.
- No undisclosed trade markup.
Transportation
Any transportation is subject to client consent, vehicle availability, appropriate ICBC/employment/commercial coverage and written trip/mileage rules.
Transportation is unavailable unless the required coverage has been confirmed.
Home Access and Financial Property
Keys only with authorized written protocols and documented checkout/return.
No custody of client cash, jewellery, valuables, banking credentials or bill-paying authority.
Fees and Changes
Monthly retainers, extra time, additional kilometres, permitted rollovers, cancellations, credits and hospital holds are governed by the signed and approved service agreement.
Website summaries do not replace the written agreement.
Concerns and Escalation
- Online service requests and incident reporting are not available through this website.
- Before services begin, the written arrangement must identify how to raise concerns with the responsible founder.
- This website is not an emergency contact channel.
